This weekend at Lollapalooza, come party with VTech as we bring you “Die Tonight” at the Beauty Bar at 1444 W. Chicago with Filter Magazine. A “Overdosed Rockstar Costume Extravaganza” as only we can bring it. So come and party out with Jamie XX, Juan Maclean, Faltydl, and more. NO COVER ALL NIGHT, and a two hour full open for two hours….!!! All this spells out party time. So come and have some fun on VTech.
Whether its a five-piece indie rock band from Odense, Denmark (Søren, Thomas and Rune) that make up The Kissaway Trail, or Serena-Maneesh, the alternative rock band from Oslo, Norway, lead by Emil Nikolaisen, both groups brought their unique slant on music to the stages of Filter and VTech’s SXSW Showcase and rocked the crowd.
And though these two bands hail from different countries, you still get the hint that the long ago former politic entity consisting of the kingdoms of Denmark and Norway (Denmark-Norway), the ties still remain. After all, they’re just a ferry ride away.

American born, Hong Kong raised, and Paris based rapper, vocalist, entertainer, Uffie, incorporates many genres of hip hop, rap, electronica, dance and more into her music. Here, Uffie rocks the crowd at this year’s Filter/ VTech SXSW showcase with a track, “Brand New Car” off her long awaited debut album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, set to drop on May 31st, 2010 on her label, Ed Banger. The Sounds of VTech / Brand New Car: Uffie at SXSW
If you were there, you were lucky. The world premiere of Timeless hit SXSW after a ten year Mochilla absence with the help of VTech, and made its mark on the indie heavy music scene. With a special musical performance by J.Rocc, Q&A with B+, Eric Coleman, and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and a rocking after party with Chicken George and more, Timeless proved itself once again as a show/event you did not want to miss. For those who unfortunately missed out, here’s a photo look back at what was a very magical night. But don’t worry, there’s always the DVD box set coming soon to ease your pain.
