The Sounds of VTech and Roc C bring you the exclusive single from Lyric James.

Fredrick James better known as “Lyric James” is an R&B singer who inherited his performing talent from his father, an accomplished theater actor and opera singer. Growing up in Oakland, CA. his father constantly play records in the house instilling in James his love of music. Although he was heavily influenced by artists such as Marvin Gaye, Boyz II Men, and Anita Baker, he was most influenced by his father.

At 16 he began performing and not long after, he soon attracted the attention from other artists. He would form a group called “3 Deep” and later one called “4 Life” which included a record deal with MCA. After the group dissolved, Fredrick decided to go solo.

Here with his solo debut on VTech, Lyric James brings you his new single: Highway Catch.
